Good Afternoon everyone, I hope you're all in Good Health.

Wondering if I can get some answers, I would be eternally grateful.

I got my spousal visa and came to the UK in may 2012 ... Applied for my ILR in June 2014 after the 2 years and got my ILR last november 2014

now i was told its almost time to apply for Citizenship. But i dont know where to start.

What is the name of the application form? ( ILR was '' Set M '' )
What is the cost?
When should i apply?
What documents am i going to need to bring forward?
How long is the processing time?
When do i get a British Passport?

I am in no rush to apply but i just want to be prepared for when that times comes.

Thank you so much in advance and i hope you enjoy the rest of your day. :) :) :)

I assume youre applyig under 3 year rule. In that case you could have applied for bc in may 2015. My husband got his ILR in July 2014 but he came here on spouse visa in June 2012 so we applied in June 2015.

The name of the form is AN
The cost of you only is £1005

If youre applying under the 3 year rule then all you need is your passport, brp, wifes passport copy, Life in he UK pass notification and proof of english language whether it be degree or ESOL certification.

The processing time is up to 6 months.

And your marriage certificate if applying on the basis of spouse of British Citizen.

You can only apply for a British passport once you have been approved, attended your ceremony and received your naturalisation certificate.

Bear in mind that the fees go up every year in April.
