Marriage certificate for MN1 application

Hello everyone.
I have been granted ILR under long residence last month.
I'm going to register my 2 year old child who was born in UK for British Citizenship.
I'm wondering if I could submit a certified marriage certificate and explain the reason that my original certificate has been submitted to UKVI with my wife's FLR(M) application.
Please someone reply as it is urgent.

You don't need the marriage certificate if the child was born AFTER 2006.
Citizenship FAQs (Click)
Q2: Which documents are needed for registration as BC?
If applying under section 1(3) (child born in the UK to parents who now at least one parent holds ILR), the following documents are required:
- Original full UK birth certificate for the child (with the ILR parent named on it).
- Original child passport (if has one).
- Parent's passport showing ILR / BRP. (photocopies of all pages are accepted)
- Marriage certificate (if child born before 2006).

Thank you for the quick reply CR001.
I can't find those FAQs anywhere in gov.uk or any other websites.
In the latest MN1 guide, it says
FOR CHILDREN LIVING IN UK
Parents' Marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate- please note- only include children who are not already British.
May be the rules have changed (i presume)
Could you please confirm this CR001
Thanks

Then send a certified copy and explain in the 'additional information' section.
