Hi Guys

I need your help. I have recieved naturalisation certificate for MN1 application for my child. However, postoffice people were unable to send the application through since my child's birth certificate and marriage certificate were laminated. They advised me to contact passport office and find out directly with them. I found that very strange that they do not accept that.

Do we really have to send child's birth certificate and marriage certificate? My child was born in India.

Please advise.

Thanks
?Kunal

Requirements are here - tables A-D:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... s_4_14.pdf

No mention of birth or marriage certificate for first-time passport for recently-registered child.

I used PO C&S service recently for a daughter (born abroad) & did not send those documents.

Hi,

I applied for my son like your situation, best to fill in online passport form and take a print out send it via first class recorded delivery send it with your son's original naturalization certificate and if any passport held and that's it. No need for any other documents. I got my son's passport and all documents pack within 4 days. its really easy
