Query Regarding 'exercising treaty rights'

hello really hope someone can be of assistance for my query. As my title suggests my query relates to the exercising of treaty rights topic. I am an eu citizen (Spanish citizen) have lived in England since I was 4 (now 27). I have been employed full time since February 1st 2010 and as such I understand I have now acrewed permenent residency and can prove this as I have p60s from 2010-2015. I acknowledge that I now need to wait till February 1st 2016 until I can apply for naturalisation (6 years in total I'm told).
Some websites state that I will need to provide 5 years worth of p60s and then 'prove that I am settled and exercised these rights for a further 12 months'. What does this actually mean?
Other websites say I actually need 6 p60s covering the whole six year period. Am i better of waiting until April 2016 when I receive another p60 before applying for naturalisation?
Hope this makes sense? I have 6 p60s in total FYI (2010,2011,2012,2013,2014,2015).

You only need to exercise treaty rights until you acquire PR and hence only need 5 P60s to show you have done so. To then become eligible for citizenship you need to live in the UK for one year with PR status. It doesn't matter what you do here (i.e. you do not need to work) but it is important that you reside here and aren't absent for more than 90 days - so another P60 could help you prove your residence but is not required for anything else once you've acquired PR.

Brilliant thanks for your very speedy and concise reply. Some national checking in service websites that I have been on required 6 years of p60s which just confused me a little. would there be anything required from me to prove that I still resided in the uk for the 12 months in which I 'exercised my pr'? Again- appreciate your helpful reply.

A P60 for the 6th year should be proving that you were living here - especially if it was for a full-time job.
Apart from the P60 you could also bring some of the following: bank statements, tenancy agreements, utility/council tax bills (whatever you have really).
