Countersignatory's USA passport has maiden name on it

I'm applying from the USA for a British passport for my son. The countersignatory is an American citizen, and her own passport (a photocopy of which needs to be submitted with the application) has her maiden name rather than her married name on it (her passport was issued before she got married). Is this of any importance? Is there a chance my application could be refused because of this?
Thanks for your responses.

You could mention this point in a cover leter.
And no, if HMPO aren't happy with a referee they will most likely ask you to nominate another.
