Naturalisation: married and maiden names clashing

Good day, I wonder if someone has been in my same situation before.

I am an Italian citizen applying for British naturalisation. Last year I got married and adopted my husband's name, updating all my official communications including bills and bank statements. My Italian passport, however, still has my maiden name on it.
I booked my Life in the UK and English tests using my married name, and I proved my identity by bringing my original marriage certificate along with my passport [maiden name] and proofs of address [married name].

Now that I'm filling in the AN1 form, I realised that I can exclusively use the name on my passport; so the name on the form won't match the name on my tests.

Can anyone please advise?

Thank you very much noajthan! In the meantime I managed to get through to someone at visas and immigration, and they suggested that I simply attach a cover letter to my application explaining that I used my married name for the tests, along with my marriage certificate.

That approach (a cover letter) will explain the name discrepancy.

Be aware that, due to the recent HO policy change (on names/identity), you may be required to update your foreign passport to use the same name as used in UK.
