MN1 for my son

HI,
I would be applying for my ILR soon, My kid was born here and got the birth registration certificate and been to INDIA for an year. He got an Tier 1 dependent visa which expires same as mine. Can I apply for MN1 after I receive my ILR or should I apply for dependent visa again.
