Hi all,
Want to start by thanking you all for the very informative posts and responses in this board. Below is my situation and now not sure which way to go:-
Married EEA 2009
Moved to the UK July 2010
Things went sour and divorced August 2012
ROR given Dec 2013
Married British citizen Dec 2014
Now which way? can I apply for British citizenship directly? or should I go through the EEA? I have a small employment gap Jan 2014 - July 2014 - was self employed but never had insurance.
Please help
Thanks
Njomo

Stick with far less restrictive EEA route.
Insurance (CSI) is not required if exercising treaty rights as a s/e 'qualified person'.

You will have difficulties applying for naturalisation if their was a gap in the EU citizens treaty rights

Thank you obie and noajthan. So I'm I right if I can start my application for citizenship straight away? Been here for more than five years.

Probably more prudent to apply for
confirmation of
PR first.
