Hello All,

I had received a PCN due to wrong left where it wasn't allowed to turn left, It only happened because i was driving car for the first time after passing test in new area.

Incident happened in 1 April 2014 and i am applying for my Naturalisation in 2 Nov 2015. Apart from that i have clean license and i have no other offences of any kind.

My question is;
1- Do i have to declare it ?
(i)- If i do what section would i use to declare it ?
(ii) - And how do declare it ? i mean just write a brief incident summary ?

2- Would that effect on my naturalisation ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You'll be ok but do declare it.

Wanderer, thanks for your quick reply, which bring me to my next question :

How and where to declare it ? As I don't have PCN reference number handy anymore, so what information should I provide ?

Regards,

Sorry mate I don't know, I'd just put it in additional notes or similar with as much as you can remember, at least then you are covered if any comeback. I sometimes think these things are a test of honesty rather than exclusion by blame, I have UK SC clearance and you can have done all sorts (within reason!) but as long as you declare it is fine.

Hide it and your are toast because they probably know already.....

Hi,

I have put my PCN details in Section 4.6. That's also the place where they mention PCN like parking fines.

Good luck.
