October 2015 AN Form - EEA citizen citizenship application

Hi everyone,

I am intrigued about the changes to Section 2 of the latest AN form. The 2.5 and 2.6 subsections have been removed and 2.4 has been updated to a simplistic view, requiring to answer 2 questions:
* Are you an EEA national or the family member of an EEA national?
* Please state the number of your Permanent Residence card and the date of issue

Have there been any changes recently to mandate the PR card when applying for citizenship as an EEA citizen? On previous versions of the form, you had the option to detail how you Exercised EC Treaty Rights - sections 2.5 and 2.6. Also, these deleted sections are still mentioned in the AN Guidance document from October. Seems to me that this change is intended to make requirements even more opaque, rather than simplifying the process.

Anyway, could you please confirm that the following meet the residence requirements, given the new October AN Form:
* EU citizen - 2007 accession wave
* student from 2008 - 2012
* received the yellow card pre-2011 (this should exempt me from the necessity of having to have private medical insurance as a student to exercise EC Treaty Rights)
* worked as part of my sandwich degree, between 2010-2011 (14 months) - the company applied at that time for a Blue card
* worked continuosly after I finished university (2012-present)

Am I missing anything? No idea where this information should go in the application form, any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for reading.

Yes recent changes, as discussed here:

In a nutshell, EEA applicants for privilege of citizenship now need to submit a 'confirmation of PR' card.

You will also have to answer the 'address history' & 'absences questions' on the AN form which together cover 'residency' in UK.

Thanks for your answer, that's pretty annoying as I have everything ready under the previous version of the form. In theory, if I send the previous version of the form today and it arrives on the 12, will it still be considered a valid application ?

There don't appear to be any transitional arrangements in place.

Not sure how you'd achieve it but it would appear to be 'safer' if your application arrived at Home Office before 12 November;
(some sort of express/same day delivery service perhaps?)
