Hi all,
Im due to apply for naturalisation based on civil partnership.
I have a question regarding work history.
On the form they ask for 10year history. I have been in the country for past 11 years but i am applying on basis of civil partnership. Do i need to include 10 year work history or 3 year work history?
As i dont remember the exact dates of my previous jobs i've had 6-7 years ago.
I called HMRC and they only gave me employment history for the past 5 years as they only keep records for 5 years.
Would it be problematic if i write i dont remember the dates on the form? or will it hinder my application?

Thanks

10 year history.
It is used to help assess an applicant's 'good character' so HO will want to dig deep.

It is your responsibility to supply all necessary supporting information for your case.

It may be problematic so do your best to recall - even approximate months/years.
You could add a cover letter or brief explanation of any gaps & lapses in the 'additional/further info' section of the form.

If you remember where you lived or who you worked with before then that may help you remember pertinent facts.
And maybe your partner can help you fill in the gaps

If HO are not happy they will write for more information.
