Hello All,

please advise me for below.

Me and my wife both have ILR and i was the main applicant before and had Tier 1 earlier but after my wife got ILR she is not classified as a dependent.

is it possible that only my wife gets naturalised and i keep my ILR because i am not interested in getting passport. or because i was the main applicant and my wife came to uk with dependent visa that i have to become BC and then my wife becomes BC

is there a rule that main applicant holding ILR has to be naturalised first or it doesnt matter as long as you meet the criteria

thanks in advance
peace

Citizenship is not a visa & there is no natural pecking order in terms of ILR.

If one meets the rules for privilege of citizenship (& has coin) one can apply.

So your wife is good to go whenever she feels ready (after holding ILR 12 months).
