hi
I'm currently thinking about making Tier1 visa,, according to my knowledge if I can invest more than 200000 Sterling I can have a temporary visa first then I will be issued something like a green card then becoming a UK citizen
my question is that:
I'm planning to have a baby and I want to know if I succeeded in the tier1 visa, and traveled with my wife to the UK, then she got birth in the UK .... will the baby become a UK citizen ,,, or there is any restriction on the baby citizenship?

The UK does not have a 'green card' system.

You apply for your Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa. When you qualify and if you meet all the requirements, you apply for ILR (indefinite leave to remain).

Once you have held ILR for a full 12 months and have at least 5 years residence (unless married to a British Citizen), they you apply to naturalise as a British citizen. Once you get the approval, you have to attend a ceremony where you take the oath and will get your certificate.

Once you have taken the oath and have your certificate, only then are you British and can apply for a British passport.

A child born in the UK is not automatically British (like it is in the USA for example). If you are on a Tier 1 visa, your child will definitely not be British but can register to be British once you are granted ILR.

Your child will only be British automatically if born AFTER you have been granted ILR or are yourself already British.

There is no green card in UK.

Such a child born in UK may become a citizen once one parent has settled status in UK.

You need 5 years residence to get ILR. You baby will only be able to apply or register as British AFTER you get ILR, so 5 years before you will be able to register the baby as British. By then the fee will be substantial as it is currently £749 and goes up every April.

The child BC Registration will indeed be increasing in April, from £749 to £936. As a matter of interest, a request for reconsideration following a BC refusal will increase from £80 to £272.

It is unclear from your posts as to whether you plan to apply for the Tier 1 (Investor) or Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa, although I suspect it is the former.

The gov.uk websites for Tier 1 (Investor) and Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) are good places to start. And if you have questions for the process upto ILR, have a look at the forums for Tier 1 (Investor) or Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), whichever is applicable.
