I am going to submit my 6 year old daughter MN1 application next week, She was born in UK and now i have my ILR.

The only concern i have is that her current Pakistani passport is expired last month on which she has travelled before.

The council NCS has told us v dont need to send her passport as long as the child was born in UK.

Please can someone just confirm this or do i have to get her passport renewed first? and send her passport along the application.

You don't need to send it but if you reference it in the form, you will have to send it.

Also, she does not need a valid passport to apply for MN1 under Section 1(3) of the nationality act. She has an entitlement to register due to being born in the UK.

Not all such UK-born children have a foreign passport.

Birth certificate is acceptable evidence of identity, as per the MN1 guidance.
