British Citizenship with Polish nationality

Hi,
I understand that there are many topics like this one but I still can't find an answer to my problem.

From the title you can see that I'm Polish national who is trying to get British nationality by Naturalisation.

The thing is that I'm 22 years old and I came to England with my parents when I was 12 years old (10 years ago)
I finished secondary school here as well as sixth form and university (in English language so no need for English language test)
I work for military company and I have SC (Security Clearance to gain SC clearance you will normally need to have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years) clearance which means that I passed all of the requirements;

*Baseline Personnel Security Standard (uses the Police National Computer (PNC) to make sure a candidate has no convictions. The check returns evidence of any current criminal record and un-spent convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.)
*Departmental/Company Records Check
*Security Questionnaire (Finance questions, time in UK, medical questions etc...)
*Criminal Record Check
*Credit Reference Check
*Security Service Check

My employer told me that I could apply straight for British citizenship without PR card due to all of the above but after some research I am not so sure. Please advice me if my employer is correct and if not what are my options.

Thank you

You will have to apply for a PR card. The rules changed on 12 November 2015 and all EU citizens have to submit proof of PR with their citizenship application.

From what I remember the PR can take up to 6 months to be delivered. Would I need to wait 12 months to be able to apply for citizenship or would I be able to apply straight away for citizenship as I'm here 10 years with the ability to prove it.

Providing you submit plenty of evidence and yours is a straightforward case it should not take more than 8 weeks or so. One member of the forum recently received theirs after only 4 weeks.

Submit evidence of a 5 year period that ended at least 12 months ago. Then you can apply for naturalisation as soon as you receive the DCPR.
