Hi,
I came to the UK as the dependant of my husband who was holding Tier 1 visa at that time.
Now My husband and I are holding ILR visa.
I got my ILR visa a year ago.
I am planning to apply for naturalization and British Passport.
But my husband is planning to stay with the ILR visa.
But is there any restriction like my husband should take the British passport before me, because I came to the UK as his dependant?
Which form should I use to apply for naturalisation and Passport application?
Thank you

No, there is no such requirement.

If you meet the requirements and have 5 years residence, you can apply in your own right for citizenship.

Hi,
I recieved my ILR after 2 years of stay in the UK.
Is the Naturalisation requirement like 5 years of stay in the UK or after 1 year of ILR?
Thank you

You need 5 years residence which must included 1 year on ILR (so 4 years + 1 year ILR) if you want to apply in your own right.

You can only apply on the 3 year basis if you are married to a British citizen.
