Hi Guys,

I was about to return my BRP on Monday and the address i wrote on envelope was :
Freepost RRYX-GLYU-GXHZ
Returns Unit
PO Box 163
Bristol
BS20 1AB

The above address is written in the guidance.

But i have just checked my Approval letter again and the address that is written there is different than what is written in Guidance.

POL Returns,
P.O Box 195,
Bristol
BS20 1BT

I am going to follow what is written on my approval letter.

I was thinking why have they given two different addresses to return BRP.

Many Thanks

My envelop is also ready with the below address as shown on my approval letter
POL Returns,
P.O Box 195,
Bristol
BS20 1BT

And noticed differences in address on the guide and letter.

I am posting to the above address mentioned on approval letter

Because one is a "freepost" address and the other not a "freepost" address!!
For any further answers to "why", call UKV&I and ask.

"BS20 1B" isn't a valid post code. Just send it to the address on the letter as that is the most recent correspondence concerning the BRP return. I'm sure it will find its way to the right place.

Even if a post code is no longer in use, it doesn't just vanish immediately. I live on a redeveloped estate which retained the old street names but got a new post code. I still have some mail arriving with the old post cost.
