Hi there
My Mrs had a Tier 1 General. Myself and our daughter was dependant on her. My Mrs has recently granted indefinite leave to remain as well as I have been. We did not apply for our daughter as we thought that we can apply for her naturalisation as soon as we get ILR. Now I am a bit confused, whether we have to apply for ILR first for our daughter or can we apply for her naturalisation straight away...?
Also her dependant visa is expiring on 2nd of May 2016. Do we need to apply before that date or can we apply after that as well. If we apply after that, will she be an overstayed candidate or will she exempt that, as she was born in United Kingdom. Please bear in mind that my daughter is only 3 years and 6 months old.
Please help....?
Regards

UK born child does not need ILR. Once one parent has ILR, there is an entitlement to register the child as a British citizen under section 1(3).
