If I were to apply today for BC, one thing would stand out: many visits to my home country. In some years very frequent (every 1-2 months), in others less frequent, but overall the trend is obvious.

Is that likely to cause issues?

You're welcome. If you're applying through the NCS you may want to consider the option of the joint BC/passport application. I believe the trial scheme has now been rolled out nationwide and it avoids the requirement to attend an interview before the passport is issued.
