Am I a UK Citizen by birth?

Hello all,
I've done some research and still I'm not sure if I qualify or if I am a UK citizen. I am considering applying for a UK passport\citizenship.

I was born in the United States in the 1960's. My mother (now deceased) was born in Scotland in the 1930's and everyone from her side of the family was born in Scotland (her mother and father, grandparents...).

My father (now deceased) was born in the USA and so were his parents. They both married in America, where I was born and raised. I have never lived in the UK.

Am I a citizen of the UK, or am I eligible\qualify for Citizenship based on the above? Although I end up reading and searching online to find answers to these questions I often end up more confused or with more questions.
Thanks everyone.

UKM application and £80 fee. You have a lifelong entitlement to register providing you meet the requirements :)
