Hi,

I am about to apply for Naturalisation for me and my wife both later this month via NCS. The name on her NI card is still her maiden name which I haven't bothered to rectify. Would this be a problem? Her Passport, BRP card are in her new name (with my family surname).

Any inputs greatly appreciated.

There's no requirement to submit NI card. I didn't.

And you can't change it anyway because NI cards are no longer issued.

Are her pay slips and P60s in her maiden name too? She may wish to let HMRC know of the name change, if so: https://www.gov.uk/tell-hmrc-change-of- ... or-address
