Child registration as British citizen - wrong place of birth

Hi,

I am today received my child's certificate for registration as British citizen almost 6 months after application but place of birth is printed as London instead of the actual UK city mentioned on his birth certificate.

Have this happened with anyone else's certificate before? If so, should I get it corrected or it doesn't matter and I should rather go ahead for passport application?

Thanks for sharing your views
