I notice they have sent back my Permanent resident card ? i swear on the application when i was reading it, it stated they will keep it and destroy it for me ? or i will have to send it back otherwise there will be a fine?

can anyone confirm what i need to do please ?

Thank You

That return/destroy instruction only applies to those on UK route with UK BRP (ILR). Not for DCPR.
No fine.

Just keep your DCPR.

What nationality are you and how did you get settled status (PR or ILR)?

You talked about your card in context of "permanent residence" (PR). That suggests you are on EU migration route with a confirmation of PR card (PRC/DCPR).

If you were on UK route you would have ILR and a BRP card.

Apples / pears.

Can you tell me how long it took for you to actually get all your documents back. Were they only returned when your application was sucessful?
Thanks and congrats
