Hi Seniors,
My spouse got ILR on March-2015 and granted citizenship by Sept-2016. I came to UK on July-2014 thru Tier-2 ICT Dependant visa renewed my Tier-2 ICT Dependant visa recently,
need to renew again by April-2019.
I'm eligible to apply ILR by completing 5 years on July-2019(i.e In Tier-2 ICT Dependant).
I need a clarification that "If your spouse is a British citizen, lived in the UK for at least the 3 years before your application is received".
If I am going thru this channel "spouse is a British citizen", I'm eligible to apply for naturalisation by July-2017 as I will be completing three years of stay in UK.
Could seniors please clarify on this? Am I eligible for naturalisation whether on July-2017(Spouse British Citizen)? OR July-2019(In Tier-2 ICT Dependant)?
If your answer is July-2017, can I directly go for citizenship OR I would be granted with ILR by July-2017 then qualified to apply for Citizenship by July-2018(i.e.After 12 months of ILR)?
Many thanks for your help.
Siva.
