question re SAR request

I'm EEA national and got PR status in July 2016, but I have been living/working here since 2001. I'm completing the SAR request to find out the date that has been noted on my record, to make sure my naturalisation application will not be refused on grounds I didn't wait the 5+1 yr like what happened to some other posters

I'm not sure re Section 2 of the SAR request, if I have to complete part a or b
Which record am I requesting? Is it a print out of the computised casework databease (caseworker notes, immigration history...), or Home office files or is it part B, specific data where I can write down exactly what I need

Also, section 6 of the application asks to state additional information, and to provide details of previous immigration applications. I need to give the details of my PR certificate?

TIA

It is probably best to ask for all computerised files, if you do this they will send you everything they hold on you (could be interesting, you never know).

If you're in a hurry you could use the fast track scheme and apply specifically for the date the Home Office believes you acquired permanent residence under the EEA regulations.

You'll probably get the response much faster and it's also free.

Thank you, I did a fast track before, but they only give info re entry clearance, landing cards etc. When UKVI replied they commented that more info is only given when you do the standard request with the fee
Not sure If I need to request a SAR, maybe NCIS will see it when they do their checks. I rather be safe than sorry though and get a standard SAR request done so I'm sure that the correct date is noted. If they took the date on my PR card as the date of my residence, than I rather wait till next year for my application as I don't want to be refused and go through a reconsideration
