hi. i think shes a moderator. she was refused because they said she was without financial support for 1 year after they refused her asylum and they believe she must have worked or got benefits which means she broke immigration rules. i her application she sentbevidence that her cousins were supporting her but still refused so she wants to apply for reconsideration

Not victoria, it is Amber.

We have recently had a black out on the forum and have lost some of our sticky topics, the one you are looking for must be included.

The letter you are referring to though is only for refusal based on being illegal in the UK when in fact the person has been a refugee or asylum seeker. HO will have checked her full history, so if she did do any kind of work or put anything on the form AN to that effect or claimed any state help and then did not declare it, it would result in a refusal. We always suggest people to register and post themselves. It is dificult to offer advice to a third person who might not actually know the full details.

Your friend can just complete the required form and send it with a cover note.

Link below is a sample of what Amber did for a member. Your friend can amend to suit her circumstances if this is the one you were looking for.
