I have done my life in the UK test in 2009. At the time, I use my driving license, now I unable to produce the driving license as I no longer use it. Will the UK accept my passport as a method of identification for my naturalisation application.

Has anyone ever been in this situation?

Practical approach would be to include your Passport and explain the facts on page 22 of the form, especially what happened to the licence, did you loose it, returned to DVLA, etc. If you are going NCS (recommended) it might be worth querying this when you book an appointment.
