I have a query related to the English Language Requirement as part of the British Citizenship application. I held a Tier 1 (General) visa and received my Indefinite Leave to Remain last year. All through the process, I used the Points Based Calculator to show my English Language suitability as the degree appeared on the database.

For the Citizenship application, do I need to get my degree certified by NARIC or can I select the option below on the form:

I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after
28th October 2013;

Appreciate if someone on the forum can help and provide their inputs; would be useful if someone who has been through the process recently.

Thanks

You can use the option you have stated. Be aware that HO could still write to you and ask you to provide evidence of meeting the language requirement.

You also still have to submit your LIUK test letter.
