ILR Home Office Letter lost

Hello guys!

I'm planning to apply for naturalisation soon. I have all documents required except the one needed for Section 5, the Home Office letter by which I was given permission to stay here indefinitely, also known as the indefinite leave to remain letter.
I received that letter along with my BRP (which I also lost very recently) but it's now gone.
I was wondering if any of you have successfully applied for naturalisation without said letter or if any of you knows about the possible risks of not submitting it. I am very worried!

Thanks very much.

Have you reported your BRP as lost?

It may well be prudent to delay your BC application until you've been issued with a replacement BRP.

That was the first thing I was going to do, but I'd have to attach a valid passport if I applied for a BRP replacement. My passport is out of date and it would take a minimum of four months to obtain a new one, which is far longer than the 3 month window I've been given to obtain a BRP replacement :( :( not sure what the best thing to do would be
