Employed to self employed while application being processed

Hi,
Iam currently employed. I am going to apply for naturalisation next week and I am also planning to be self employed (contracting) soon. If there is any jobs available I am planning to apply.
while my applicaion is under processing, if I change my employment status is this going to cause any problems with my application? Do I need to inform Home office and how?
