Hi
my wife has been living in this country lawfully since sep 2014, in july 2016 she was granted ILR on the basis of Discretionary leave Remain.

not a single day she has been an illegal.

questions:

1: when can she apply nationality ?

2: while getting ILR she didn't do life in the uk or any other English course . does she need any of these ? ( by profession she is a Doctor)

kind Regards

1) Now, if you are British;
Next July if you are not. (After one year of ILR).
But see #2

2) LITUK - yes;
Proof of English - yes, see forum FAQs

Are you sure? ILR based on DLR requires 6 years residence.

my apologies she is living lawfully since 2004.
she was student dependent till sep 2009 then she was granted DLR

thanks noajthan

yes i am British , i took ILR on the basis of 10 years lawful residence and then later got nationality.

so we can apply straight away for nationality , dont need to wait for 1 year.

can you please refer me where i can read guidance about this i.e. nationality eligibility etc

regards

No exemption. A NARIC ELA would be required + The Life in the UK test.
