Hello everyone!I am Latvian national and would like to apply for British passport for my 3 year old child. She was born in UK and got Latvian passport at the moment. The problem is her name on Birth certificate is Emilia, but on Latvian passport she is Emilija(name is Latvinaised).I contacted Latvian passport office and they allowed me to change her name spelling to Emilia( like in bc), now I am not sure does it counts like name change and should I need to mention this on her British citizenship application?Or this counts just like name Emilija was just translation to Latvian.
Maybe here is any Latvians who had similar experience?Or anyone know where to ask for advice? Thanks!
