We (a family of three) have just started our applications for naturalisation, and your contributions are great for getting a sense of timelines.

One clarification.

I see in a number of postings that people have applied for PASSPORTS before receiving confirmation of naturalisation.

Is this possible, recommended? How can this be done?

Search for Joint application using NCS service.
Using this process you can submit both the Naturalization and Passport applications at the same time.
