URGENT:Damaged naturalisation certificate-OCI Application

Hi

I have damaged my naturalisation certificate while opening the envelope. However only the Edge is torn from top to bottom and nothing of the contents. I have managed to glue it back cleanly.

I have now got my British passport but still need to surrender my Indian passport and apply for OCI.

1)Will the damaged certificate be a problem when surrendering my Indian passport or applying for OCI eventhough its slightly torn.
2)Do i need to submit the original certififacte of naturalisation while surrendering Indian passport or applying for OCI
3)I see the replacement Certficate is 192£(an Expensive mistake) -- Should i still get this? Will this certificate be needed to submit anytime in future as i have now got my british passport?

Please advice

Thnx

No need for multiple posts across forum tagging onto aging topics.

Stick to this topic.

You shouldn't have 'glued' it, it is an official document.

Should be ok then.

You need to post your OCI questions in the 'Other Countries' sub forum further down the main forum page.
