Cannabis Warning and Naturalisation

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. I have had refugee ILR for more than 12 months now and I was considering applying for British Citizenship when just yesterday I was caught "trying" to smoke cannabis with my friend, extremely stupid of me, anyway the police said they were going to give me a "Cannabis Warning" as it is my first time being caught with cannabis for personal use. They asked me 4 questions. What is it? Who is it for? Where did you get it? How much you paid for it? And made me sign that paper but did not give me a copy. Only copy they gave me was a stop and search with Reason for search : Drugs and Outcome of search : Cannabis Warning.
How will this affect my citizenship if I apply in a couple of months.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Have you read the AN_Booklet, page 15 "Good Character"?
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... y_2017.pdf
Also Annex 18 which is UKVI policy guidance, section 3.3:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _D_v02.pdf

It is expected that cautions and warnings are declared. No one here can tell you for sure what the effect will be on your application, suffice to say if you don't declare you are likely to be barred from applying for 10 years.

I'm pretty much in the same situation right now.
Would be much appreciated to hear the outcome of your application.
Were you successful?
Thank you
