Home office contact number? ASAP.

I applied for citizenship on 3rd week of November 2016 but haven't got my original documents back yet. Haven't heard anything from them since I did bio-metric in the post office in December.
The problem is when I applied for job I provided them with my passport and the visa in passport expires this March, hence my employer is asking for my original residence permit. If I can't supply before 8th of March I have to submit ECS, which I don't know what it is. And I can't continue to work. I have given them photocopy of resident permit, however they said they need original. I can't supply this unless it is sent back from home office. This is really frustrating for me. So could anyone give me the contact details of home office to contact and discuss about this issue. Also the hours when I can contact them, if not I'll loose my job.

You will only get your documents back shortly before or after you receive approval.

This is one of the main reasons we advise members to use NCS at the council so that they can keep hold of their original documents.

What visa is this? What residence permit do you have?

You won't lose your job if your employer confirms your right to work on the Employer Checking Service. Your employer faces a wrongful dismissal claim if they fail to do this.

I was equally confused as CR001 by your mention of a visa and later a resident permit. :?
