Hi,

I need some guidance. I have obtained Permanent Residence EEA route on 15/04/2016 and was about to apply a Naturalization application. BUT I have been convicted with offence of "Keep a motor vehicle which does not meet insurance requirements" on 06/04/2017 by Magistrates' Court. I have to pay Fine of £280 but their is no points on my driving license as the Vehicle was broken down and I was not driving it but I didn't declare it SORN (my fault as I should have arrange the insurance or declare it SORN :| ) .

Now my question is that will this affect my "Good Character" requirements and do I have to wait for 3 years???
Any suggestions / guidance will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Zain

Convictions do affect the Good character requirements.
