Help EEA citizen excess days in last 12 months

Hi,

I am in a similar situation. I have been living in the UK for the last 7 years (from April 2010). I submit my permanent residency application in July 2016 and I received the Permanent Residency in January 2017.

Unfortunately from September 2016 to January 2017 I have been out of the UK (more than 90 days).
Since Jan 2017 I am back in the UK.

I have 3 questions:

- Shall I wait until at least January 2018 before applying for naturalization?

- As part of the naturalization application, will I have to provide various proofs of address and employment again (as I have already done for the permanent residency application)? Only for the last 12 months before the application or for the entire 6 yrs before the application?

- Sadly, I have not taken a copy of my application for the permanent residency before submitting it. I am concerned by the fact that in the naturalization application I will have to provide again the same information/dates (e.g. dates when I was out of the country) and that they will cross-check the 2 applications. I have nothing to hide, but it is easy to make a mistake.
Do you know if it is possible to request a copy of my permanent residency application to the immigration office? Would you recommend it?

Many Thanks

1) work out when the absences will be at or around 90 days, then you will be ok to apply, probably not necessary to wait a full year.

2) There are different HO directorates dealing with PR and BC, also different laws.
Do not rely on your previous application. Submit all evidence as required for the BC application to avoid delays. This is not for the PR period. All details working back from your BC application date, five years for absences and up to 10 years (or to date of entry) for employment, etc.

3) Make sure you give as much detail as possible, either actual dates or estimates, i.e. month/year, you should be ok, if there are gaps explain, they are not trying to catch you out. You could apply for SAR to UKVI but full data will take time, and no guarantee everything will be included (search BC forum for threads on SAR).
