Hi All,

I am working for a company on ILR and now I wanted to apply for red passport. I have recently heard my company license have been revoked. In naturalization application I need to mention my employer name, does this have any impact on my application? Should I wait for some more time until I get clarity on the company status?. Kindly suggest.

Thanks

As I understand it, your employer's status has no bearing on your naturalisation application. The only potential problem might be if you were somehow responsible for the reason your company got its licence revoked (say, if the company was involved in something illegal and you knew and aided and abetted), then you might run afoul of the good character requirements. However, if you had nothing to do with it, I doubt you have anything to worry about. They may ask for extra documents to verify your level of involvement in whatever is going on at your company, but I think that's probably it.
