Applying for British Citizenship-OUt of country for 548 Days

Hi All
I would appreciate if some one can provide some advice or suggestion how i proceed to apply for my wife's british citizenship,she came to UK as a british citizen dependent in 2011 and got indefinite leave to remain in 2015.now i would like to apply for her british citizenship for which i below doubts
1) what english test does she has to write (Life in the UK and any other test like ESOL)
2)since she came to UK in 2011 she was out of country for total 548 days on medical reasons.out of which she out of country for 285 days at a strech.my question is, Is she eligible to apply for british citizenship if yes then how.
