Hi, I am EU national in the uk from 2005, from 2009 wife of British Citizen.
I have DCPR issued 2010, from 2006 i work part time and don't Pay NI. I haven't got Comprehensive Sickness Insurance. I applied for naturalisation few days ago, is this possible that BC will be refused, even if i have Document Confirming Permanent Residence from 2010, but never had CSI?
Many thanks for your help.

On what basis did you receive DCPR? Were you a student or self-sufficient person?

I received DCPR as a worker ( working continuously for 5 years, had 2 part time jobs - total 26 hours per week, but didn't pay NIN ) DCPR was issued in 2010, before Comprehensive Sickness Insurance become necessary to get DCPR. From 2014 i work 10 hrs per week and i am paid about £120 weekly.

As I understand it CSI is only required for students or self-sufficient qualifying persons. The fact that you did pay low or no NI contributions is not connected to this regulation. So based on what you write there is no issue.

And do you think UKVI will not ask me for evidence of Comprehensive Sickness Insurance from 2014? 10 hours work per week and income £ 120/week - is this genuine and effective work, not marginal work?

Naturalisation is not a re-run of PR - economic activity is not a pre-requisite, housewives and unemployed people apply. There are many similar discussions about this on the board.

After they have issued DCPR, there is no longer a requirement to work nor have CSI cover, etc. There is just the requirement of not being absent from the UK for more than two consecutive years.
