Hi
I have emailed the gov website but cant seem to get a straight answer.
I was born in 1993 in Australia. My mother was born in England and a British citizen when i was born, but a permanent resident of Australia. She was married to my Australian father.
Am I a British citizen by descent? Can I apply for a passport or visas to live/work in the uk

Thank you for your time

THnaks Vinny.

Im not sure what form i fill in, or do i just apply for a British passport?

The .gov website only seems to have options for being born before 1983, or for a parent to register their child under 18....my mother did not register me as a UK citizen
