Hi

I'm about to apply for RoA for my baby and was wondering if I can get some help.

I will be applying from UK, below are the list of documents that I think I need to be sending across (all original copies):
1) baby birth certificate
2) baby passport - Malaysian
3) parents passports
4) parents ILR
5) parents marriage certificate
6) cover letter

Questions that I have:
1) Does anyone has a template of cover letter for such application?
2) Do I need to provide more/ other documents ?
3) How long (typically) does it take for such application?
4) How do I make the payment?
5) Is there a sample filled form ?

However, I'm thinking whether to apply from the UK or Malaysia. If I would apply from abroad, would I need the same supporting documents as well? This is because only one of the parents will be travelling with the child. How do we submit 2 passports?

Did u apply the RoA within the UK or from malaysia?

I have the same situation with you. I have an ILR myself and we'll be flying out soon to malaysia with my uk born baby.

Are we allowed to make the application of RoA from malaysia or must it be done in the UK since the baby was born here?
