Application for confirmation of British nationality status

Hi
My mother was born in Uk and I applied to British passport as I was British by decent .
my application was not success for British passport .
then I applied for confirmation of British nationality status
I applied via agent in NS guide the application time line 6-8 weeks .
now its more than 12 weeks also I didn't get acknowledgement form Home office that my application of NS was received , can you help me in my case , what I should I do
also if request the original document It was sent to home office , then I applied in my country to Right of abode (ROA) does it will influence for my application as it will be 2 case open in Home Office .
