Hello.
How can I check the status of my JCAP application process please?
I don't seem to have any reference number from this application.
Also: if I am not in the UK at time when passport arrives. Can anyone else collect it for me, please?

have you tried passport office with the barcode reference that was provided at the top of the form.

also after ceremony, you suppose to cut your BRP and return it to uk home office in 5 days, which means you wont have any means of coming back into UK so how will you leave UK and then come back?

The original poster is Polish, does not have to return his PR card and can enter the UK freely with out restriction.

Unless you live in a block or flats or a dodgy area, the passport is just popped through the door, it is not 'collected'.

Following your ceremony, the passport can take a few weeks. It all depends on how quickly the council informs HO that you attended and HO then informs HMPO to proceed with the passport.

It is also the busiest time of the year for the passport office, so very likely there might be delays.
