Civil Partnership Status after Naturalisation Application

Hi

I submitted my naturalisation/passport application as a civil partner (3 year route) last week. In the application, I put his address the same as mine as we're still officially cohabiting. However, my relationship with my partner has been unstable over the last few months. My questions are:

- As my naturalisation application is pending, will it create any impact on the decision if he moves out and changes his "home address"? Will I have to inform HO if it is the case?

- If we are dissolving our civil partnership before my naturalisation application is approved, will it create any impact? Will I have to inform HO about it?

Thank you very much in advance!

Until the Civil Partnership has been dissolved, for BC purposes you are still considered to be Civil Partners....as with married couples to haven't been granted a Divorce Absolute. It's irrelevant whether you are continuing to share the same address.

Thanks for the quick response. Will I have to inform HO that my partner's address has changed if he moves out?

No, assuming you will be aware of any communication from the HO which may be received in the post while your application is being processed.
