Hi, I am in UK on ILR and i will get an British passport by September'2017, My Wife and 1st child is on Tier1 dependant as they are not yet eligible for ILR. My Wife is pregnant and due date is in December 2017. Due to personal reasons we like to give birth to child in India.
If my wife gives birth in India, can i able to apply for british passport for Newborn from India?
and please suggest the process. Thanks

If the child is born abroad on or after the date of your citizenship ceremony, the child will be a British citizen by descent and can apply directly for a British passport.
If the child is born before the date on your naturalisation certificate,
even just the day before, s/he will follow the immigration progress of the less-privileged parent and will acquire British citizenship when the other parent (in this case, the mother) and child acquire ILR. This would be a much more costlier route than if the child were born in the UK.
If the child were born in the UK, s/he would be automatically British at birth, as you already hold ILR.

Thank you and Appreciate your comments...
As i understand, if child born abroad with father as British citizen, He/She automatically becomes british decent.
So how do i apply for the new born from India directly for a British passport? Thanks

Overseas passports.
Timelines suggest a wait of six months to a year for a first overseas child passport.
