Hi All,
I have just got naturalized and now I am going to apply for passport.
I have two questions .

1- My colleague is IT Contractor/professional and a director of Ltd company, can he countersign my application?

2-Section 4 parents details is very confusing, They said if your parents are born before 31st dec 1982 or born outisde of uk then u have to fill section 8, we have section 4 where we can put all details then why we need to put info on section 8.

1. It is not a referee for passports, it is a countersignatory. See list of acceptable countersignatories below.

2. You must complete your parents details. No need to complete grandparents details though. Complete section 4 only unless you have to provide more details due to space constraints.
