Can I apply for a British passport for my daughter. She is 7 years old and was born in China. Her father is British, she was bron after our married, her father is named on her birth certificate.

Her father has refused to sign the passport form to get my daughter's passport.

I have my dauther's birth certificate and our marriage certificate. But I dont have father's birth certificater or naturalization certificate, I only have a copy of his passport.

can I still apply for her?

Are you sure he was naturalised/registered as British? If he obtained British citizenship based on his own parents being British he would probably be British by descent but there could be exceptions.

Any particular reason why he does not want to sign the British passport application? [are you now divorced, etc.?].
