Hello Everyone

I have recieved my BC letter and my application has been successful. They mention that I should not contact my local council until I recieved invitation for ceremony from my local council. They also mentioned that i will get the letter within 3 weeks.

Although I read in this forum that some people call the local council and book their ceremony date. Can I also call them before I recieve the letter from them?

My wife FLR M is due and I am applying within a week my question is can I now put my Nationality as British? Or just write the Indian ?

Thank you very much. For my naturalisation application I applied on 27 March 2017. Home office recieved the application on 31 March. Recieved the acknowledgment 11 April. BRP done on 9th May. Recieced a letter from HO to send the Original passport two weeks ago. Yesterday got the letter with original passport.

For wife FLR M application I am going to apply next week by post.

You will not be British until you have attended your Citizenship ceremony. You must state 'Indian' in your wife's application form.
